Mothers’ Day Vanilla Market

The new edition of the Vanilla Market will come to celebrate the biggest love of our lives: our Mothers!
At RSVP and Vanilla Village we know how important Mothers are for everyone so we came together again to create another amazing Market full of activities and local artisans, a perfect place to come spend a day with your families and spoil your mom with locally produced gifts and nice food!
We will have a live band, kids’ entertainment (with a special surprise this time) and free corkage fee!
Come celebrate the most special person of your live with us!
Winter
Market

Marking 1 year since our very first Vanilla Market, RSVP and Vanilla Village will once more bring you the Vanilla Winter Market!
If you found our first edition a great experience come meet us again for this new, improved and much more experienced second edition.
We will be waiting for you at Vanilla Village Black River from 10 am to 3.30 pm with loads of kids, activities, live entertainment and free corkage fee!
Come support our local artisans and eat some delicious vegan (or not) food at the Vanilla Village Restaurant!

The Ocean Active Festival

"The Ocean Active Festival” is a lifestyle festival providing opportunity for Ocean lovers to showcase their passion in and out of the water, bringing everyone together to celebrate the wonders of the beautiful beaches in the Indian Ocean, while enjoying the day with their families!

Ferney
Trail
September 18
CIEL Ferney Trail is one of the oldest and yet most favoured trail of Mauritius, regrouping more than 3,500 participants yearly, at Ferney La Vallée. CIEL Group launched the 1st edition of the CIEL Ferney Trail in 2008 with a strong human approach and pioneering spirit.

The group is committed to:
• make #BouzeMoris
• encourage practice of sports in Mauritius
• create a social link between participants
• promote the richness of the Mauritian biodiversity
• raise awareness on the inclusion of people suffering from intellectual and developmental disabilities

Moka Trail
October 2
Launched in 2013 by ENL and Rogers to promote the practice of sport in Mauritius, Moka Trail has considerably gained popularity over the years; the event started with around 900 participants and now fields some 2,000 runners.
Moka Trail is more than just a sporting event; it is also an invitation to discover the centre of the island, a modern, integrated region where it feels good to live, work and play.

Fundsmith Colin Mayer Tour

The Fundsmith Colin Mayer Tour is a World Class Mountain-Biking race in Mauritius focusing on team. This MTB Race is an event which honours the life of Colin Mayer, who was an extraordinary sportsman in Mauritius. The Vision for the Colin Mayer Tour by Fundsmith is to be a bucket list experience for locals and international sportsmen who frequent Mauritius. The race also aims at expanding the mountain biking community in Mauritius alongside creating awareness of the sport for the upcoming generations.
More than a race, it’s the communion between effort and friendship.

Afrasia Bank Mauritius Open
December 2021
Since its inception in 2015, the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open has featured prominently in the European Tour, Asian Tour, and Sunshine Tour calendars. The tournament is beamed worldwide and reaches more than 350 million viewers every year. Some of the world best have competed in the tournament, including amongst others, 2010 Open Champion Louis Oosthuizen, World Golf Hall of Fame member, 4-time Major Champion and former world number one, Ernie Els, the 2018 Ryder Cup captain Thomas Bjørn and Nicolas Colsaerts, the Belgian bomber and ambassador of Anahita Golf Club. No less than 156 international golfers competed last year at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open to win the prestigious prize of EUR 1 million.
Christmas Vanilla Market

If you came to our first edition you know what we are talking about! We’ll have Santa, lots of kiddie activities, live entertainment and much more!
Come spend the day with us, our dozens of local artisans, free corkage fee and all the Christmas Spirit you can take!
DODO
Trail

Dodo Trail is one of the most exciting trail event in Mauritius.
It is made of a few different trail distances and difficulty levels, all cross country through some of the most beautiful properties in the Black River Gorges that are not otherwise available for the public. The Dodo gives trailers the opportunities to visit breath-taking views over the Mauritian lagoon in some of the most challenging trail runs in Mauritius.
You can chose to do the 4km fun run, 10km trail or 25km and 50km extremely technical trails and finish off at the event village with the support of hundreds of people and an incredible atmosphere!
This year the trail has been postponed a few months with the date still to be confirmed.

IBL on the
Move

IBL On the Move is a sporting event for a good cause hosted at Azuri annually.
The event is constituted by 2 trail run races though beautiful sugar canes fields, as well as an MTB race and a triathlon.
​
It was created as a form to raise awareness for non-profit institutions around Mauritius, supporting a different cause each year. This year the supported cause is “Les Cuisines Solidaires” which is a non-profit focused on preparing meals from unsold food items to deliver to NGOs, while supporting women and preparing them for future opportunities. Under the cause is also “The Good Shop” which sells second-hand clothes and other items to finance education, employment and environmental causes.
This year the event has been postponed due to the national lockdown with date still to be confirmed.

Moka Street Food Fetival

Moka Smart City will bring Mauritius the first-ever edition of the Moka Street Food Festival!
It will take place at the beautiful open air space of the Telfair Amphitheatre from 5pm to 10 pm. Everyone is invited to come and have a taste of the 100% Mauritian culinary event and its local specialities.
Adding to the street food stalls, the Festival will bring a number of activities for all ages, including a dedicated space for children with lots of games and bouncing castles.
This will be a family event that will make you rediscover Mauritian Street Food.

The Festival has been postponed for later this year due to the national lockdown – date is still to be confirmed.
MTB
Rodrigues
Date to be confirmed
Rodrigues MTB Challenge is a two days mountain biking race through a variety of different terrains which Rodrigues Island has to offer. The landscape may vary from hilly lands, volcanic remnants, coastal paths and lush vegetation.
The aim is to attract people from the Indian Ocean Region and South Africa to take part in this race and give some exposure to this island and its people through a sporting event. This race is a place where bonds are formed on the track among an exclusive group of riders, both locals and internationals. One which the mountain bikers will save on their calendars…
Unfortunately, due to the current sanitary situation in Mauritius and the lack of visibility on future travel protocols to Rodrigues, the second edition is postponed for 2022.
